He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Hammond (Gridley); his parents, Floyd Hammond and Mildred Hammond (Hamlin); and his brother Edward Hammond. He is survived by: his children, Dale Sotherden (James) of West Monroe, NY, Carol Jones (Lynn) of Pennellville, NY and David Cosilmon (Tracy) of Cicero, NY; and his cousin Candace Hindley (Glen).
