She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Barnes and Helen Parker Barnes; her husband John F. Brown Jr.; and her close friend Gerson L. "Gary" Pfaff. She is survived by: her stepson John R. Brown of Elmira, NY; her friend Susie Pfaff Alexander (John) of Elmira, NY; and also Valeda Smith of Pine Valley, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and caring friends.
