We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2018, at the age of 83, Francis Carter Jr. (Plattsburgh, New York), born in Dannemora, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sr. and Permelia Carter, Sr. (Phaneuf); his brother Donald Carter; and his stepbrother Neil Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane of Plattsburgh; his children, Edward Carter of Plattsburgh, Ann Carter of Plattsburgh, Larry of Plattsburgh, Shannon of Plattsburgh, Gail Carter of Plattsburgh, Jane LaGoy, Rick LaGoy of Ballston Lake, NY, Cathy DuBrey, Sherm DuBrey of Plattsburgh, Debbie Peryer, Barry Peryer of Westville, Wanda Rose, David Rose of West Chazy, Tammy Deyo and Todd Deyo of Plattsburgh; his stepmother Irene Carter of Plattsburgh; his sisters, Jane Bouvia, Edward Bouvia of Longs, SC, Doris LaFave of Plattsburgh, Genny Corron of Plattsburgh and Jim Corron of Plattsburgh; and his stepsiblings, Terry Gordon of Plattsburgh and Ann Sweeney of Plattsburgh. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
