She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gurtzweiler and Esther Gurtzweiler (Hoffman); and her siblings, Margaret Gurtzweiler, Paul Gurtzweiler and Robert Gurtzweiler.
She is survived by: her siblings, George Gurtzweiler (Rita), Bonnie Rakerbrand, Patricia Schoenrock (Bob), John L. Gurtzweiler and Howard Gurtzweiler (Kathleen). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mariester's name to Hospice of NW Ohio, or St. John XXIII.
