It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Brunell of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gedeon "Jed" and Irene White (Robert); her husband Herman L. Brunell; and her siblings, Mildred White, Walter White and Bernice White (Thurston).
She is survived by: her sons, Hermon D. Brunell (Dorothy) and Dennis Brunell (Julie); her grandchildren, Katelyn Ryan (Matthew), Drew Brunell (Ashley) and Kayse Brunell; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Josephine Ryan, Luke and Lane Brunell; her friend Don Bedore; and her sisters, Gladys Monette (Norman), Christina White (Irvin Baskin), Linda White, Ruby White (John Auza) and Eleanor White. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Webber and his staff, the UVM-CVPH Emergency Department, R6, R4, Cardiology Providers, Nurses, and Staff as you all were her final support as we could not be with her due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Donations in Rita's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners, or Wounded Warrior Project.
