It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Wachtel of Poestenkill, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Booth and Fannie Bitley Booth; and her siblings, Marion Morse and Eleanor Stannard. She is survived by : her husband Peter C. Wachtel; and her children, Peter F. Wachtel (Patricia) of Poestenkill, Charles J. Wachtel (Jami) of Poestenkill, Deborah Gilday (John) of Nashua, NH and Dawn A. Wachtel of Poestenkill. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
