She was predeceased by : her husband Gary McDowell. She is survived by : her parents, Arlen Merritt and Betty Dutcher Merritt; her children, Leslie McDowell of Auburn and Matthew McDowell (Rose) of New Jersey; and her sisters, Cynthia Laraway (Edward) of Auburn, Arlene Canale of Auburn, Joan Scanlon of Auburn, June McDowell and Ralph McDowell of Port Byron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
