He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nelson and Edith Miller Nelson. He is survived by: his close friend Laura Southard; his children, Alicia Willis (Robert), Christopher Nelson (Millisa), Erica Nelson and Ashley Nelson (Greg); and his sister Kathleen Hawley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
