He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Diane Cook Lofft; his children, Jeff Lofft and Cheri Lofft; his son-in-law Richard Martinez; his grandchildren, Isabella Martinez, Molly Lofft and Christopher Martinez; his mother Nancy Scheftic Lofft; his siblings, Mark Lofft, Debbie Lofft, Laurie Lofft, Edward Lofft and Kenneth "Buddy" Lofft; his son John C. Lofft Jr.; and his father Edward Lofft.
