John left this world on October 29, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene "Moochie" Mateycik; his great-nieces, Kellie, Sharon and Kristin; Jordan, Abigail, Cassidy, Theodora and Jack.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Greenwood Union Cemetery (4 North St, Rye, NY 10580).
