In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maryann leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maryann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedetto Socci and Anna Luciano Socci; and her siblings, Vincent Socci and Rosemary Alpert. She is survived by: her husband Angelo Forta of Rye Brook, NY; her daughter Danielle Forta Colantoino (Donato) of Harrison, NY.; and her siblings, Joseph Socci (Tisha) of Stratford and Theresa Mercer of Norwalk.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (136 S Regent St, Port Chester, NY 10573). An entombment was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at the Saint Mary's Cemetery (1 High St, Rye Brook, NY 10573).
