He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Nancy Heinrich Kern and Alfred Kern; his friends, Jupe and Gina Tenke; his wife Gerriann Kern; his children, Casey, Roxanne and Megan Kern; his siblings, Billy Kern, Susan Kern, Jimmy Kern and Rosi Fournier; his grandson Spencer Jaxon Cruz; his son-in-law Bryan Cruz; and his parents-in-law, George and Elizabeth Lang. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kevin's love for all animals to the Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark, Inc., 202 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.
