He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Blackstone Hoffman; his spouse Elizabeth Sweetser; his daughters, Dorothy Hoffman of Albany and Frances Schneider (Scott) of Johnstown; his brother Gilbert Hoffman (Brenda) of Syracuse; and his brother-in-law David Sweetser of Poughkeepsie.
