We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Arthur C. Smith in Poughkeepsie, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lee McCary and Arthur C. Smith Sr.; and his sister Flora Williams. He is survived by: his wife Lorena D. Smith; his children, Arthur C. Smith III (Carrie) and Missy Smith (Jim); his grandchildren, Makenzie Jane Hutchins (Josh), Chloe Lee Valerie Smith, Adrian James and Julian Arthur Smith DelFavero; his siblings, Andrew Smith and Arcola Jackson; and also, Robyn, Chris Charter and Carol Flandreau. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571).
Memorial donations in Art's memory can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church where Art was a communicant for several decades and spearheaded the church's annual pig roast fundraiser.
