We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 52, Cynthia Marie Hilbrandt in Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Cynthia Marie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cynthia Marie. Though Cynthia Marie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Hilbrandt and Bernice Hilbrandt (Guski). She is survived by: her boyfriend Steve Cheka; and her siblings, Rich Hilbrandt (Cheryl) of Red Hook, NY, Fredrick Hilbrandt (Kristi) of Lorton, VA and Catherine Diaz (Robert) of Macedon, NY. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; in addition to extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Cindy's memory.
