He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frank, Kenneth, Joseph Pectal, Viola Gawrlyczik and Eileen Smalley; and his son-in-law Warner Hein, Jr..

He is survived by: his child Nina Hein; and his grandchildren, Sean Hammond, Jessica Hammond, Paul Hammond and Warner Hein. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces.
