He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Pells and Mary Jane Pells; his brothers, Mark and Bruce Pells; his grandparents, William Case and Marjorie Miller; his aunt Joann; his uncle Allen Morris; and his father-in-law Ronald Glusenkamp.

He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his daughters, Chelsea (Thomas) of Windham, NH, Cassandra (Jordan) of Union Vale and Alexandra (Garrett) of Lagrange; his siblings, Pat Magurno of Poughkeepsie, Kathy Pells of Pleasant Valley and Garry Pells of Weirsdale, FL; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Odekirk and Patricia Davis of Syracuse, NY; his mother-in-law Doris Glusenkamp of Poughkeepsie, NY; his cousins, Joseph, Kristen and Daryl Magurno; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Adalynn, Maci, Hudson and Camryn; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
