He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Newman and James Newman. He is survived by: his wife Carol DiMarzio; his children, Joseph Jr. (Sonya), Charles (Carmela), Michele Igoe (Andy) and Susanne O'Neil (Tom); his grandchildren, Jessica Murphy, Charles Newman Jr., Tommy O'Neil Jr., Kacie O'Neil Plassart, Shauna O'Neil Sheldon, Alex O'Neil, Emily O'Neil and Mary Igoe; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Sadie, Teagan, Aubree, McKenna, Madison and Wesley.
