She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Scherr (Henry Lerner) of Newton, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Adrienne, Hilary, Ross Lerner, Mara, Jared, Nathan Kennedy and Alexandra Shandell; and her son Hooker Ave.
