He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin J. Futyma and Helen D. Futyma (Spurkowski); and his sister Carol (Futyma). He is survived by: his wife Carol Futyma of Poughkeepsie, NY.; his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Christine Futyma of Poughkeepsie, NY; his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Sal Bennie of Poughkeepsie, NY; his grandchildren, Justin Crandell, Jordan Futyma and Christian Futyma; his great grandchild McKenzie; and his niece Ellen. He is also survived by the many dogs that were his companions.
