He was predeceased by: his brother Paul E. Smiley of Westfield, IN; his son L. Kevin Smiley; and his wife Connie. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Smiley of Newton, NJ, Patricia A. Smiley of Claremont, CA and Joan E. Smiley of Worcester, MA; his sister Barbara Ames of Sonoma, CA; and his grandsons, Andrew Burnett and John W. Wilson.
