With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray L. Saunders (Poughkeepsie, New York), who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Steele and Duggar Saunders; his brother Kraig; and his sister-in-law Lorna. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gartner; his children, Robert (Debra), Scott (Andrea) and Amy; his siblings, Norman (Lee) and Sue (Bill); his children, Tracy (Dennis) and Tim (Gina); his grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle), Joshua, Rachel (Tom) and Amanda (Amber); his great grandchildren, Sean, Brayden, Kylie, Lucas, Ella and Jacob; and his siblings' children, Ron, Adam, Julie and Beth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of his memory to the American Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
