She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis C. Sheppard and Marjorie Sheppard (Fischer). She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Ludeking; her adoptive daughter Julie Heckman; and also Triston.

In lieu of flowers and continuing Ursula's love of animals, donations may be made in her memory to a SPCA or Animal Shelter of one's choice.
