We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2023, at the age of 77, Dorothy Ann Nichols of Putnam Station, New York, born in Bennington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Foster and Dorothy Foster (Huntington); her husband Kent W. Nichols; her daughter Cheryl Ramey; and her brother Fred Foster.
She is survived by : her children, Edward Ramey (Melissa) of Dresden, Richard Ramey (Kim) of Hampton, Gary Ramey (Betty) of Whitehall, Jennifer Armstrong (Mitch) of Madrid, NY, Sarah Rockenstire (John) of Granville and Julia Houghtby (Kris) of Whitehall; her siblings, Robert Stevens, Gail Dickerson, Karen Simpson, Barbara Schrammel, Terry Anagnos, Kathy Doherty and Vicky Cook; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Rock and Daniel Nichols (Ann). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
