She was loved and cherished by many people including : her daughter Carey Federspiel; her son-in-law Fred Federspiel; her grandchildren, Harry, Ella, Leo of Larchmont, NY and Erin Christofferspiel; her grandson-in-law Espen Christofferspiel of San Diego, CA; her sister Jenine Hemphill; her brother-in-law R. V. Hemphill of El Paso, TX.; her husband John W. Mills; and her parents, William Thomas (W. T.) and Lucile Woodard (Carey).

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 2999 Schurz Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.
