He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kennedy and Helen Kennedy (Mullen); his brothers, Thomas, James and Peter Kennedy; his siblings-in-law, John Mc Hugh, Mary Stevenson (John) and Josephine Clarke (Martin); his nephew Brian Stevenson; and his niece Geraldine Thurston.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mc Hugh (Betty); his sister Catherine Mc Arthur; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Walker (Doug) and Charles Mc Hugh (Esther).
