He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rachel Townsend Nelson of Covington, LA.; his grandparents, Dorothy, Charles G. Klapheke, Jr. and Steven; his great-aunt Yolanda Caroppoli; his stepsister Kristin Fazio (David Wolff); his cousins, Jessica (Izzi) and Rick Sheahan; his aunt Diana Saquella (Tom); his cousins, Laura Dalton and David Vincent; his uncle Charles G. Klapheke (Patricia); his cousins, Christopher Klapheke, Matthew Klapheke, Katrienne Feaster and Shauna Moore; Will, Mary Townsend, Monica, Skyler, Thomas and Noah.
