Elizabeth Schermerhorn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2020, at the age of 90, Elizabeth Schermerhorn (Queensbury, New York), born in Port Henry, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Schermerhorn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth J. Maye and Mary Cronin Maye Bancroft; her husband Frederick F. Schermerhorn; her brother Robert J. Maye; her brother-in-law T. Jack McCambley; and her granddaughter Tanya L. Diamond.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Schermerhorn (Donna Moors) of Glens Falls, Ronald Schermerhorn (Joan) of Gansevoort, Nancy Hay (Geoffrey) of So, Glens Falls, Susan Diamond of Burlington, VT, Theresa Donahue (John) of Gansevoort, Robert Schermerhorn (Susan) of Hudson Falls, Daniel Schermerhorn of Newark, NJ and Michael Schermerhorn (Jennifer) of Denville, NJ; her sister Marion McCambley of New Hartford; and her sister-in-law Ellen Maye of Schenectady. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
