She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Whitbeck and Shirley Jean Whitbeck (Cleiss). She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Joseph MacDonald (Alexandra) and James William MacDonald; her grandson Samuel Joseph MacDonald; and her siblings, Patricia Whitbeck of Castleton, Luanne Whitbeck (Dean Long) of Slingerlands, Marjorie Catalano of Delmar, Lois Frunz (Gary) of Bay City and Allison Cranmer (David) of Ocala, Florida.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
She was an avid mystery reader, collecting hundreds of mystery books and used her COVID-19 time to root and cultivate dozens of houseplants for Christmas and birthday gifts.
