It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Redden of Rensselaer, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Redden and Helen Redden; and his brother Edwin. He is survived by : his wife Lucy Redden; his stepsons, Scott Laranjo (Stacie) of Averill Park and Lance Laranjo (Julie Gaudette) of Schodack; his siblings, Helen Shumaker of Westchester, PA, Donald Redden of Schenectady, NY, Eugene, Richard Redden, Thomas Malcolm, Ruth Bonkowski and Barbara VanDerwerken (Donald); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha Laranjo, Lesa, Brandon, Lucas and Tesla Laranjo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands NY 12204, or the Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Road, Albany NY 12205.
