It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William C. Shanno Jr. of Rensselaer, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away at the age of 73, on July 28, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Shanno and Helen Shanno; and his pet Bella. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Justin (Kim), Brian, Gregg, Carrie, Eric (Crystal) and Scott; his grandchildren, Hannah (Josh), Erin, Adam (Ashley), Kyle, Isabelle, Eric and Kenny; his great grandchild Jonah; his siblings, Jeff (Nancy) and Beverly (Bill); his pet Champ; and his close friend Bob. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion (836 Broadway, Rensselaer, NY 12144).
