It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph L. Filkins of Rensselaerville, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Filkins and Grace Kuhn Filkins; his sister Marian Duffy; and his nephew David Filkins. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Duncan Filkins; his children, Donald Filkins (Debra), Terri Buchardt (Brian) and Robert Tanner; his grandchildren, Samantha, Nicole, Jessie Filkins, Renee Buchardt, Brendin Tanner (Amanda) and Emileigh Tanner; his great grandchild Harper Tanner; and his siblings, Judson Filkins (late Sandy), Barbara Joslin (Robert) and Richard Filkins (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Building Fund of Westerlo Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., P.O. Box 87, Westerlo, NY 12193 will be appreciated.
