It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Boyd Sr. of Retsof, New York, born in York, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his daughter-in-law Teresa Boyd; his siblings, Laura, Gloria, Jean, James, Robert, George and Jerry; and his parents, James Boyd and Anna Nichols Boyd.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia; his children, Vicki Lown (Rodney) of Geneseo, William Boyd Jr. and LuAnn Hartnett (Dennis) of Geneseo; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Boyd, William Boyd III (Felix), Alecia Glenn (Bobby), Abigail Long (Dan) and Max Hartnett (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (Activities Fund), 11 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
