Van Alstine of Richfield Springs, New York, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Alstine and Nance Wheeler Van Alstine. He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Chapman; his children, Ashley Ruiz (Christopher) of Richfield Springs, Chasity Van Alstine (Cody Learned) of Mohawk and William O'Donnell of Oneonta; his siblings, Terry Van Alstine (Diane) of Nebraska, Barry Van Alstine of Ilion, Brian Van Alstine (Gulbin) of Colorado, Donna Foster (Ken) of Richfield Springs, Joann Chapman (Bradford) of Schuyler Lake and Lorri Buell (Chip Riano) of Burlington Flats; and his grandchildren, Austyn Sample, Adrionna Sample, Kyle Dyn, Emma Dyn, Nevaeh Ruiz and Liam Ruiz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a very special friend his Black Lab.
