He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Snyder and Mary Snyder (Lennon); his siblings, Peter and Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, James Caroscio, Ann Carmichael and Katherine Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene Caroscio Snyder; his children, Ann E. and Kevin Connolly of Elmira; his grandchildren, Matthew (Katie Bohart), Abigail, Erin, Peter J. and Robin Snyder of Roxbury, NJ; his great grandchildren, Molly, Emily, Michael T., Donna Snyder of Washington, DC, Quinn, Jackson, Evan, Maureen A. and Scott Carroll of Hornell, NY; his sister Mary Margaret Snyder (Jane Feisthamel) of Richfield Springs, NY; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ellen Skipper, Gary Bouch, Victor, Karen Caroscio, Tom, Marie Caroscio and Carol Caroscio; and also, Brennan, Owen and Margaret. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
