It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Teachout (Richfield Springs, New York), born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on February 27, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Carl and Isabel Antis Teachout; his children, Richard, Jr. and Patricia Tehan; and his siblings, Oscar, George, Arthur, Orville and Vanetta Domion.
He is survived by : his spouse Wanda Thayer; and his children, Woodrow Teachout (Joan) of Schuyler Lake and Mary Ellen Marriott of West Winfield. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory with donations to Catskill Area Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
