Carole J. Kanous Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole J. Kanous (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carole shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carole farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband James Kanous; and her children, Michael (Jan), Charene Lockhart (Terry), Kathleen Fox (Frank) and Karen Baier (Tom). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral and Cremation (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
