Christie Lynn Cooke Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christie Lynn Cooke, who left us on March 17th, 2024. Christie, age 50, was born on March 6th, 1974, to Sheila and Kenneth Cooke at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York. She attended Gates Chili High School. After high school she attended MCC for criminal justice. In her free time, she participated in cheerleading, dancing, coaching her daughter Jessica's cheer team; and was a professional in competitive gymnastics. In all her working experiences she was happy to serve the community and always had a bubbly personality.
Christie is survived by her children, Nickolas Mancuso and Jessica Mancuso of Chili, NY; granddaughter, Amira; parents, Shelia Cooke and Kenneth Cooke; sister, Melissa (Agostino) Ginevra, of Penfield, NY; and nieces, Liliana Ginevra and Juliana Ginevra of Penfield, NY.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave, Rochester, New York 14624. A funeral mass to celebrate Christie's life will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624.
Christie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
