He is survived by: his wife Maryann; his children, Marialynn Rivera (Juan Arce) and Florencio Rivera; his grandchildren, Marialynn Polanco and Aryanna Arce; his siblings, Roberto Rivera, Nancy Santiago (Benjamin), Iris Orsini, Ada Orsini and Sara Orsini; and his pet Fidel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
