He was predeceased by: his children, Hugo Jr. and Susan Buhr; his grandson Kenneth Latragna; his siblings, Betty Saturno and Charles Zugnoni; and his brother-in-law Robert Flohr.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine (Stiehler); his children, Ruth Latragna, Brenda Hall, Joann Werner (Zbig) and Steven Zugnoni (Mandy); his siblings, Richard (Nora), Robert Zugnoni (Dianne) and Joyce Flohr; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Fleckenstein (John) and Bob Saturno. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice (2652 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester, NY 14626).
