She was predeceased by : her parents, Martha Burns and Harold Burns; her daughter Sheila Caufield; her sister Beverly Schlageter; her granddaughter Danielle Caufield; and her former life partner Edward Caufield.

She is survived by : her husband Eugene Pierleoni; her children, Sue Ribis (Tim), Tim Caufield (Gina), Sharon Schmidtmann (Eric), Patrick Caufield (Elaine) and Steven Caufield (Debbie); her stepsons, Vince Pierleoni (Stephanie) and Mark Pierleoni (Diane Geiger); her grandchildren, Ryan Caufield, Jenna Lagnese (Rob), Evan Caufield, Erin Purington (Jon), Eric "Dude" Schmidtmann, Meaghan Davis (Patrick), Kaitlin Caufield, Kellie Caufield, Stefany Caufield (Joe Coon), Sheila Caufield, Shannon Caufield, Victoria Pierleoni and Matt Pierleoni; her great grandchildren, Justin Lagnese, Calvin, Jasper Purington and Annabel Coon; and her friend Mary Anne Tasbas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
