It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Akel (Rochester, New York), who passed away on February 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Akel. He is survived by: his wife Christine Akel; his children, Joseph Akel (Emily) and Gina McMahon (Patrick); his granddaughter Avery Akel; his mother Lillian Akel; and his siblings, Michelle Forte (Stan) and Edward Akel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to American Liver Association, WNY Chapter, 25 Canterbury Rd., Suite 316, Rochester, NY 14607 in Joe's memory.
