He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. L. John Makarewicz and Mary Makarewicz; his son Michael Joseph; and his sister Barbara Martin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Davis); his children, Laura Thomas (Mathew), Susan Makarewicz and Peter Makarewicz; his grandchildren, Michael, Brennan Thomas and Everly Makarewicz; his sister Betty Paluch; and his daughter-in-law Colleen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
