He was predeceased by : his parents, Anastasios Niforatos and Athena Niforatos; his wife Elli Niforatos; his brother Andreas Niforatos; and his son-in-law John Kyprianou.

He is survived by : his children, Maria Kyprianou (Turgay Terzi) of Monticello, NY and Anastasios "Tasse" Niforatos (Cheri) of Roscoe, NY; his grandchildren, Elli Kyprianou of Monticello, NY, Stavros Niforatos, Athena Niforatos and Anastasia Niforatos of Roscoe, NY; and his sister Maria Pollatos of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Nektarios Greek Orthodox Monastery in Roscoe, NY, Kiwanis Club of Monticello, NY, Roscoe Cares of Roscoe, NY, Roscoe-Rockland Fire Dept. or Roscoe-Rockland Ambulance Corp. in Roscoe, NY.
