He was predeceased by: his brother Jose Ortega-Nelson. He is survived by: his adoptive parents, Donald Hasenflue and Marcelle Dugan Hasenflue; his parents, Irene Gonzalez and Fabian; and his siblings, Osvaldo, Diana, Ivon Gonzalez, Jarvin Maldonado and Dee-J Hasenflue.
Due to Fabians wishes to be an organ donor, his family requests donations be made in his honor to Donate a Life or Live on New York.
