He was predeceased by : his grandparents, James J. Sr., Dorothy Fleming, William and Myrtle Miller. He is survived by : his parents, James J. Jr. Fleming and Doris Miller Fleming; his children, Amanda (John), Allison (Travis), Andrew and Abby; his grandsons, Dallas and Ashton; his sisters, Ann Fleming-Houghtaling of Rosendale and Laura Fleming (Brian) of Kingston; and his friends, Sara Gast and Steven Fabrico. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nephews.

The family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
