He was predeceased by : his parents, Sanford Swartz and Grace Swartz; and his brother Ronald Swartz. He is survived by : his wife Janice Swartz; his children, Stephanie Miller, Andrew Swartz and Kyle Swartz (Marcy); his grandchildren, Stacy Marble (Andrew), Joshua and Austin Swartz; and his sister Marion Nadeau. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
