She was predeceased by: her brother Lowell Near. She is survived by: her parents, Gerald Near and Marjorie Near (Jennings); her sibling's children, Jill (George Hyde) of Adams Center, Donald Near of Amsterdam and Scott (Cindy Near) of Amsterdam; and her siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Mowers (Alfred McCarthy), Joan Mowers, William Bailey of Dolgeville and Leonard Bailey of Oppenheim. She is also survived by nephews and cousins.
