He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Church and Helen Church (Vergith). He is survived by: his wife Violet A. Church (Schonebeck); his children, Gordon Church, Heather Kitchen and Cassandra DePriest (Adam); his grandsons, Nathan (Jessica), Jack Alcorn and Lucius DePriest; his great grandchild Violet Alcorn; and his sister Helen Webb.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc. (5893 Hoover Rd, Sanborn, NY 14132-9215). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in his name to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers.
