With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Roberta Joan Sawyer Goodnough of Sandy Creek, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sawyer and Christine Greene Sawyer; her son David; and her in-laws, Paul and Agnes Goodnough.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Yerdon (Larry), Brian (Heidi), Christine and Cathleen; her grandchildren, Edwin, Carly, Marjorie, Nicole, Bradley, David, Lexi, Lindsey and Aden; her great grandchildren, Lily, Colton, Brayden, Taylor, Alison, Madalyn, Anastasia and Oliver; her great great grandchildren, Blaire and Jericho; and her in-laws, Fred, Janet Goodnough, Barb Hansen (Al) and Carolyn Camidge (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ellisburg Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at the Greene Point Marina and Mobile Home Park (206 Greene Point Rd, Mannsville, NY 13661).
